The Summer Hockey League is like the casual summer hockey vibes mixed with the structured, competitive atmosphere of The UCD Super League. The best of both worlds.

How It Works

Gather Your Team

Round up friends, club mates — whoever you want. You need 8+ players. You manage your own squad and availability.

Register Together

Enter as a team. Team registration opens next month. Dates are decided collaboratively — your schedule, your summer.

Play All Summer

Weekly 8-a-side matches. Appointed umpires. A league table. 8–10 weeks of proper competition.

The Format

Fast. Fierce.
Fun.

The league will run for 8–10 weeks over the summer. Weekly 8-a-side half-pitch matches, with appointed umpires and a real league table.

One Mixed League — One league for all men, women and mixed teams
Half-Pitch Matches — 8-a-side, with up to 4 subs at any game
50 mins of Match Time — 25-minute halves, with a 5 minute halftime
No Limit on Team Size — Your squad can be as big as you want, but you can't bring more than 12 players to any single match
Playoffs & Finals — Top 4 teams advance to semi-finals, then a grand final to decide the champion
